About The Randall Museum

Located in at 199 Museum Way San Francisco, California, the Randall Museum is open from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. from Tuesday through Saturday. The museum is in the center of San Francisco, and admissions into the museum are absolutely free!

The Randall Museum features a large array of exhibits, including the Riding the Rails, Animal, and Collector’s Corner Sculpture Exhibits. Each of these exhibits contains interactive models which explore different areas of science and the arts. The Riding the Rails exhibit offers a model caboose you can ride on and guide around the exhibit. Within the Animal Exhibit, which features live animals, you can learn more about helping the environment while seeing the animals in their natural habitats. The Collector’s Corner Exhibit has on display a range of fossils, insects, birds, and much more. The Randall Museum also includes a variety of events during open hours. Each of these exhibits preserves some aspect of science, nature, and art, while providing an educational time for everyone who visits.

The Randall Museum also offers a wide range of classes and drop-in activities for you to take while visiting the museum. The classes offered range for a wide range of age groups, including classes designed specifically for family groups, and are made available after school hours and on Saturdays. Some of the drop-in activities for children include: Active Art courses, Saturday Science, Meet the Animals, and Afternoon Art. Each of these activities explores a new area of art or science through creating artwork or conducting experiments. More about these classes can be found here. These classes and activities are offered to both children and adults, and are certain to be fun and enlightening for everyone attending!
